atecom will take part in a grand CCBN event — the 18th China Content Broadcasting Network Expo from March 23rd to 25th, 2010 in the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) in Beijing. Our booth number is 1A502. We warmly invite all our clients to experience this splendid event in Beijing.

CCBN is one of the largest broadcasting exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. Being the world's leading event of DTV and broadband network industries, CCBN is also China's main international broadcast technologies and equipments exhibition. Last year, CCBN 2009 received more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries around the world and attracted more than 85,000 professional visitors from various levels of China domestic broadcasting administrations, TV or Radio Stations and cable network companies as well as foreign interests.

In cooperation with its reseller BUPT-GUOAN, atecom will exhibit its four product-lines in a grand and professionally designed booth with 200 square metres: “Falcon”, “Merlin”, “Birdie” and “Raven”. The products will be showed to constitute a complete network system to allow visitors to understand how they can integrate the products into their network environment and how the technologies of our products can improve the flexibility and the stability of their networks.

atecom’s traditional lines “Falcon” and “Merlin” will continue to offer the most powerful functions and the highest level of security in SDH/PDH and ATM networks, which still accounts for the largest share in the Chinese market. The new product “Birdie 16” will contribute to the development of IP networks in the Chinese broadcasting industry. It will demonstrate the most advanced technologies of adaptive clock recovery and Forward Error Correction (FEC) and will provide cost-effective solutions thanks to its large number of modular ASI ports.

Another highlight of our booth is our product line “Raven”. Enjoying the most exact calculating technology and the most complex PID analysing technology in the world, “Raven” performs as one of the world’s best ASI protection switching device for head-ends and DTV networks. “Raven 1-Port” is the latest small version, designed as a very cost-effective solution. Both will be exhibited on CCBN to show the Chinese market a high-efficient and cost-effective solution of protection switching. In addition to the major booth, atecom’s products will also be exhibited by other partners on CCBN.

atecom’s first exhibition booth in China has met tremendous interest among the broadcasting community.

From October 26th to 28th 2009, atecom made its first appearance in the exhibition ICTC in Hangzhou, China. The “Raven” and the “Falcon” on the show attracted a huge number of professionals from municipal and provincial TV stations and internationally competent resellers and integrators. Particularly, the public was impressed by the technical uniqueness of atecom’s products and their multifunctional applications for the Chinese market.

The Falcon’s ability to multiplex signals and to form flexible network structures of uni- and bi-directional transmission was recognized as a better alternative to the commonly used transmission methods in the present Chinese market. Raven’s world-top technology of DVB-ASI protection switching appeared to fit perfectly into the current requirements for high-quality transmission in China.

atecom will take part in the ICTC (International Coverage and Transmission Conference) from October 21st to 23rd, 2009 in Hangzhou, China. The booth numbers is 103-1 and 103-3.

With a history of 17 years, ICTC has become one of the most influential events in the broadcasting industry in China, attracting more than 20,000 professionals from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Endorsed by the State Administration of Radio, Film and TV (SARFT) of China, it combines a peer reviewed conference on the latest development in the media technology, providing a professional environment for its exhibitors and visitors.

It is in that intensive technological environment that atecom has decided to exhibit its “Falcon” and “Raven” technologies. The unique Falcon functionalities far exceed the market standards for broadcast transmission. The recently launched Raven expands atecom’s offering for protection switching technology by enabling an absolutely seamless MPEG stream transportation via two identical MPEG-TS inputs.

We are confident that these technologies along with the “Merlin” and “Birdie” lines will help atecom get a foothold in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
